KAPRB SUMMER Counselor Employment Opportunity

Enjoy working with children? Looking for summer employment? Are you 16 years or older? If you said yes to these questions, then KAPRB Summer Adventure Camp is looking for you! The summer camp runs Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm for 8 weeks (June 13 – August 5). It is a full-day recreational camp for children ages 6-12. Each counselor will work with a small group of children and will be responsible for leading them through rotations (indoor & outdoor activities, science experiments, arts & crafts, sports, etc.) and supervising them on field trips!

Emma Schwarz a Kennett graduate and Rising Sophomore at D1 Villanova University…a starter whose first collegiate goal was the game-winner vs Lehigh!

Celebrating more than 60 years of service to the Kennett Area!

The Kennett Area Park and Recreation Board has been serving the Kennett Area since the mid-1950’s.  Receiving it’s non-profit designation in 1965, the Kennett Area Park and Recreation Board (KAPRB) continues to focus on enriching the lives of the residents of the Kennett area.  KAPRB strives to ensure a park and recreation legacy for future generations.

Mission

The mission of the Kennett Area Park and Recreation Board (KAPRB) is to improve, develop, and renovate park facilities, and to offer quality recreational programs for families of the Kennett area to enjoy.
