Coaching

All KAPRB Kennett-Unionville Boys Lacrosse coaches volunteer their personal time to make this program a huge success.  KAPRB KULax is always looking for volunteers.  The number of players KU Lacrosse can accept is directly related to the number of coaches who volunteer.  In order to ensure a positive experience for players, there will be limits set for each age group based on the number of coaches who volunteer.

Coaching for KAPRB Kennett-Unionville Lacrosse is a great way to support families and youth in the Kennett are communities. KAPRB/KULax coaches teach more than sport specific skills - they help our young athletes develop important life skills that can propel them to succeed.

As a coach, you can have a positive influence on parents and players, as well as be an excellent example of community support and pride.  Don’t let lack of sports experience stop you!

Other opportunities to volunteer include team managers, field space coordinators, communications and marketing roles, and sales and spirit wear roles.

If you are interested in coaching or volunteering in any capacity, please click the volunteer tab at the top of the page.  If you have any questions, please send an email to kulax2019@gmail.com  Thank you!

Practices and Games

The season lasts from late March until May, with at least 8 games per season. Teams practice 2 times a week at fields in the Kennett Consolidated School District.

At the 10U+ level, teams compete against other programs in the CCLA.  Our 8U program offers players a series of recreational Play Days to experience game play without the pressure of competition and our 6U program is instructional only.  The 14U level is a game only level - there are no practices.
